This cozy cabin is situated along the Tiger Creek. Our cabin is conveniently located to hiking, boating, fishing, art tours, shopping, wineries and much more for those looking for an active weekend. Need to disconnect for a few days? Maybe you would prefer to sit on the back porch reading a book while taking in the sounds of nature. Regardless of your plans, we strive to make your stay the best possible! Discount offered for 7 day booking!

Our home is your home. We hope when you walk in the door, the feeling of your second home wells up inside you. The cabin is decorated with an eclectic variety of items and antiques.

You have access to the entire cabin during your stay. Enjoy cooking? We have done our best to provide you with all the cookware you will need during your stay. Enjoy your breakfast and/or coffee on the back porch while listening to the sounds of the flowing creek below.

We are here to assist if you have a question or encounter an issue. If you see something wrong, let us know. We will do everything possible to ensure your stay is trouble free.

Honey Creek Hideaway is located on a gravel, forest service road. Easy access with plenty of parking. There are two flowing creeks on the property. A great place to sit back, relax and enjoy the space with your favorite people.

Uber does not exist near us. You will access the cabin on a forest service road. We have a private driveway and a plenty of parking.

Please be reminded that the cabin is in a rural, mountain setting and weather can be our worst enemy. We have no control over Mother Nature and the havoc she can cause. Power outages are not the norm but do occur occasionally during inclement weather.

  • Rules and Reminders Please be sure to: Keep the ants away: 1. Please leave the kitchen as you found it. Wash the dishes/pans. Please refill ice cube tray. 2.Put all dirty towels in the tub prior to departure. We frown on the local police showing up. 3. No illegal activity is permitted 4. No parties. Allergies! We will be sneezing and our eyes will be tearing during the cleanup after your stay if you smoke inside. 5. No smoking of any product is permitted inside the home. A $250 cleaning fee will be charged to your account if smoking occurs inside property. Ashtrays are available for smoking outside. Water is fun! Watch the kids if they play in the creek. 6. Guests assume all responsibility if they access the creeks on this property. The guest(s) -registered and non-registered release host and homeowners of all liability. We want grown-ups to rent our placeūüėä 7. Registering guest must be 21 years or older. 8. Unit must be occupied by registered guest(s). 9. The maximum number of occupants for this property is four. The garden hose only works on tiny fires! 10. All fires in and out need to be small so they can be maintained. This home is served with a well, meaning there are no fire hydrants, and a volunteer fire department serves our area. Sewage backup into the house is not a pleasant sight or smell. 11. This home has a septic system. Flush only natural waste and toilet paper. While bears are cute from far away, having them up close is not a great situation. 12. Trash- We do not have trash pickup services and cannot leave trash outside due to bears and other animals. Please leave trash inside or place in container on carport. If you are there for an extended stay, please let us know and we will make accommodations. All rules and regulations are understood and agreed to by all guests that reside within this property once a booked guest(s). A binder with my contact information is on the counter. Please do not hesitate to contact me when you arrive if you see an issue. I aim to always be a 5-star host and will address all issues as quickly as I can, but I can't correct a problem that I am not aware of. In addition, the binder includes additional information about the area and a state park pass. If the park pass is not left where found during check-in (binder), the guest agrees to a $50 fee so I can purchase another one. I video the house and pass after every cleaning. Several flashlights are available for you if the power is to go off. You will find one in each bedroom nightstand/dresser and one larger flasher is in master bedroom closet. Fire extinguishers are also available. One in located in the kitchen cabinet next to refrigerator and the second is in the laundry closet. Please do not move any furniture or rugs. Rental clients do not have permission to use or move any homeowner's personal items located on carport. In compliance with the Rabun County STR Ordinance we must provide you with the following information: "Occupant is obligated to abide by all of the requirements of the Rabun County Ordinances, state and federal law, and such a violation of any of these rules may result in the immediate termination and eviction from the premises, as well as potential liability for payment of fines levied."
